Located in Orange County, CA, with facilities in Costa Mesa and Newport Beach, here at LIV Volleyball Club, we believe volleyball is more than just a game, it’s our life.  That’s why we aim to provide players with the tools to succeed on and off the court.  Our focus is to build players that are not only fundamentally sound, but also characteristically strong.  By reinforcing accountability, positivity,  sportsmanship, and the power of being a good teammate, it will instill in them the mindset to work hard and believe that anything is possible with the right attitude and commitment.  Coupled with our experienced staff, high paced, fun, detailed training, players will be able to flourish in any environment whether it be in the sports world or the real world.

Sierra is a Hawaiian native, born and raised in Honolulu. She grew up playing indoor and beach volleyball from a young age. She played Libero all through high school, college, and 5 years of club. She was awarded her high schools varsity’s MVP and runner up for her 16U club team at nationals. From there, she went on to play indoor and beach at OCC in Southern California, earning the indoors team MVP, 1st Team all Conference, and broke numerous records including, #2 all time digs per match, #2 all time digs per season, and #3 all time digs per career. She was also awarded 2nd team all conference for beach. She then continued her volleyball career at Westcliff University on a beach scholarship. There she earned NAIA pair of the year, Cal Pac Conference Champs, 1st all Team Conference National, and 1st all Team Conference Cal Pac. Sierra has 7 years of club experience at United Volleyball Club, where she brought many teams to the next level and earned the respect from fellow coaches, players and parents. She was United's 14 and under girls director and ran their 12U rec leagues. Experience: With a background in competitive volleyball and coaching at the collegiate level, Coach Sierra instills a winning mentality in our team. Her focus on skill development and game understanding empowers our players to excel in every aspect of the game.

Hailing from Orange County, California, Susie is a veteran volleyball coach with nearly 25 years of experience. Her illustrious playing career began in high school where she received multiple MVP awards and All-Conference honors. Susie was not only a volleyball player but also a sprinter and jumper in Track a Field. At her high school she broke several records in the 4x100, 4x 400, and Triple jump, where all three records still stand. After receiving a scholarship to play volleyball at Dickinson State University, North Dakota, her team earned the schools first ever National Championship and ended up in the Schools hall of fame. Back home, her passion for beach volleyball has also led to numerous victories locally and abroad. She now channels her love for the sport into LIV Volleyball Club, embodying her lifelong commitment to living and breathing volleyball. Cole Pender is a seasoned coach and brings over 14 years of volleyball experience and a positive, energetic approach to coaching at LIV Volleyball Club. His journey in the sport is marked by outstanding achievements, both as a player and a mentor. High School Accomplishments: During his high school career, Cole established himself as one of the top players in the Sunset League. He was a four-time first-team Sunset League selection and earned the title of Sunset League MVP three times. Additionally, he was a three-time All-CIF selection and was named a Senior All-American by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) for the 2017-18 season. His exceptional performance earned him the No. 4 spot on the VolleyballMag.com Fab 50 list. In his senior year, Cole played a pivotal role in leading his team to the CIF-SS Division 1 Championship match and the Regional Division 1 final. Collegiate Success at UCLA: At UCLA, Cole continued to excel as a libero over four years, showcasing his defensive prowess. He was named to the MPSF All-Freshman Team in 2019 and consistently delivered standout performances throughout his college career. In 2022, Cole recorded nine digs in the NCAA Opening Round win over Pepperdine and had a season-best 11 digs in a match against UC Irvine. He played in all 27 matches at libero, achieving a .953 serve reception percentage on 617 reception attempts and recording at least 5 digs in 14 matches. In 2021, he saw action in all 21 matches, with a season-high 11 digs against both Grand Canyon and Stanford, and maintained a .961 serve reception mark on 463 attempts. In 2020, Cole played in all 18 matches, mostly as libero, but also made four starts at outside hitter. He recorded a season-best eight kills while hitting .462 in a win over USC, and notched a season-best four total blocks at Concordia. During his freshman year in 2019, Cole played in 24 matches, achieving a season-high 12 digs against Pepperdine, with a 94% serve reception percentage on 494 attempts and an average of 1.3 digs per set. ​ Experience: ​Cole's extensive playing experience, combined with his passion for the game, makes him a dedicated and inspiring coach at LIV Volleyball Club.

With nearly two decades of professional volleyball experience, Andrii Tupchii has become a global force in the sport, playing at the highest levels across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. His career is marked by a series of impressive accolades, demonstrating his unwavering commitment to excellence. As a coach, Andrii now channels this experience into mentoring young athletes at LIV, where he seeks to inspire the next generation with the same passion, discipline, and leadership that have driven him throughout his career. Coach Andrii’s extensive international career has seen him achieve numerous national championships, MVP honors, and team leadership roles. His experiences in diverse volleyball cultures allow him to offer a unique perspective to the athletes he mentors. Andrii focuses on more than just developing physical skills; he is dedicated to building character, instilling resilience, and cultivating a mindset of success that will serve his athletes both on and off the court. Experience: Nearly two decades of experience playing internationally at the professional level. Bhrycen Asuncion, a former collegiate Libero who hails from Honolulu, Hawaii, brings 12 years of volleyball experience to LIV Volleyball Club. He takes enormous pride in the development of his understanding of the game’s techniques and strategies. His passion and dedication has allowed him to win 2 beach National Championships with Westcliff University, along with earning numerous honorable accolades throughout his career. He is committed to leveraging his wealth of experience and knowledge to inspire and elevate LIV athletes, fostering both their athletic and personal growth on and off the court. Bailey Olbur brings over 12 years of volleyball experience and an impressive collegiate career to LIV Volleyball Club. As a super senior at Vanguard University, Bailey has achieved significant milestones, including being a GSAC Conference Champion and advancing to the NAIA quarterfinals. Her standout performance earned her '23 Honorable Mention All-American honors and a spot on the AVCA All-Tournament Team. Additionally, she was named to the '23 All-GSAC Team, reflecting her exceptional skills and dedication to the sport. Bailey’s passion for volleyball and her wealth of experience make her a valuable asset to our coaching staff, where she is eager to inspire and develop the next generation of athletes. Rachel Lim brings over a decade of volleyball experience to LIV Volleyball. Currently competing at Vanguard University, Rachel has made significant contributions to her team, including a GSAC Championship and a NAIA Quarterfinalist finish in 2023. She has been recognized for her outstanding performance, earning a spot on the '23 GSAC All-Conference Team and an AVCA All-Region Honorable Mention. ​ Rachel's volleyball journey began at Valley Christian High School, where she helped her team secure the CIF D4 Championship in 2019. Her academic and athletic excellence has been consistently acknowledged with multiple scholar-athlete awards and Setter of the Week honors. ​ Passionate about the sport, Rachel is excited to bring her joy and enthusiasm for volleyball to LIV Volleyball. She is dedicated to motivating each player, challenging their skills, and boosting their confidence to reach new heights. Experience: Brings over a decade of experience. With over a decade of playing experience, Coach Adi brings a wealth of knowledge, skill, and passion to our team. As an active collegiate athlete at Vanguard University, she has been a key player in their impressive achievements, including clinching the 2023 GSAC conference championship and advancing to the 2023 NAIA quarterfinals. ​ In addition to her playing career, Coach Adi is also the JV head coach of the University High School boys volleyball team. Her coaching philosophy centers around fostering a love for the game while pushing each player to reach their full potential. Coach Adi is committed to creating an environment of joy, excitement, and motivation, ensuring that every player at LIV is inspired to challenge themselves and achieve new levels of success. With over a decade of dedicated volleyball experience, Brooke Scheidle has established herself as both a competitor and a leader. As a dual-sport athlete at Westcliff University, Brooke excelled in both indoor and beach volleyball, becoming a three-time NAIA Cal PAC Champion and twice finishing as a runner-up at Nationals for beach volleyball. Her success at the collegiate level is rooted in her strong foundation as a high school athlete, where she gained recognition in the State of Texas for her contributions to her team’s success. Brooke’s competitive spirit was evident from the start, having qualified for the Junior National Olympics in Hermosa Beach in 2018, representing the next generation of top talent. She also honed her skills with the prestigious Alamo Volleyball Association in San Antonio, Texas. As a coach, Brooke’s passion lies not only in developing technically skilled athletes but also in fostering leadership, resilience, and teamwork both on and off the court. Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Dejan Ljubicic grew up surrounded by volleyball, coming from a family deeply rooted in the sport. With a decade of volleyball experience, Dejan has made a name for himself as both a player and a coach. His journey began in the top Canadian league, Usports, where he competed for a nationally ranked program. Currently, Dejan is continuing his volleyball career at Westcliff University while also excelling on the beach volleyball scene. For three consecutive years, he has represented Team Ontario Beach, competing against Canada's top beach players in the OVA Beach Tour every summer. Dejan’s passion for the sport extends beyond the court as he works to inspire and mentor the next generation of athletes. As a coach for Compete Academy Beach Volleyball, Dejan brings a wealth of knowledge, having been mentored by 2x Olympian Josh Binstock and former Canadian national team player Tori Cowley. His coaching philosophy centers on building strong foundations in both technical skills and leadership qualities, aiming to empower youth athletes to reach their fullest potential. Welcome Coach Tori to our LIV fam. Coach Tori brings 11 years of playing experience, passion, skill, and hard work to our team. As an active collegiate athlete at Vanguard University, she has been a big part in their team's seasons and achievements. Including playing in the 2023 GSAC conference championship and advancing to the 2023 NAIA quarterfinals and now advancing and competing in the NCAA Division Il conference. In addition to her playing career, Coach Tori also coached the freshman head coach of the University High School boys volleyball team. Her coaching style centers around creating a true passion for the game while pushing each player to reach their full potential.

Madi is a Portland, Oregon native and started playing volleyball in the 4th grade, bringing 14 years of volleyball experience to the club. She recently finished her collegiate career at Vanguard University, where she competed for five years as a setter, graduated undergrad, and began her master's program in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which she will complete this December. Throughout her career, Madi has coached both boys and girls club teams during the college off-season and has worked in strength and conditioning at street Volleyball Club. Madi has made significant contributions to the success of Vanguard's Women's Volleyball such as: GSAC Championship and NAIA Quarterfinalist finish in 2023, GSAC All-Conference Team member, and 2nd all time aces in Vanguard history. As a setter, she developed a deep love for competition and leadership on the court. Madi is passionate about inspiring athletes to embrace the grind-showing them how giving 110% effort and putting in the reps will lead to the growth and results they're capable of achieving.

Coach Preston has over three decades of coaching experience. He is currently a high school teacher and coach. In his past Preston has coached 20 years of high school, 2 years in club, 2 years as an Assistant Men's Volleyball Coach at Cal State Northridge and many years of AYSO, Little League and Friday Night Lights. Preston has played volleyball since 1984 when he first started in Junior High School. He played 4 years at Marina High School where they were ranked in the top 5 Division 1 CIF both his Junior and Senior years. He later played club volleyball at BYU. He currently plays at the beach and on a city league team when time permits.

With a rich history spanning decades in the volleyball world, Stella Guild is a true veteran and visionary in the sport. Her journey began as a standout collegiate athlete at Pepperdine University from 1984 to 1989, where she honed her skills and passion for the game. She continued her playing career on the professional stage, competing with the San Jose Sharks and excelling on the prestigious 4-Man Bud Light Tour from 1990 to 1992. Stella's expertise seamlessly transitioned into coaching, where she has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication to fostering student-athletes both on and off the court. Her coaching career includes head coach roles at: Newport Christian School, where she led both the boys' and girls' volleyball programs. Brethren Christian School, as the head coach for the girls' volleyball program. Santa Maria High School, where she guided both the boys' and girls' teams to success. Additionally, Stella serves as an assistant coach for the women’s volleyball program at Orange Coast College, contributing to the development of collegiate athletes. Stella’s wealth of experience as a player and coach is matched only by her passion for mentoring and inspiring the next generation of volleyball athletes. Her approach emphasizes technical excellence, teamwork, and character development, creating a legacy of athletes prepared for both the court and life. Stella Guild’s leadership in the volleyball community reflects her lifelong commitment to the sport and its positive impact on players and families alike. Experience: Elite Player Development: Successfully transitioned multiple high school players to collegiate programs through her mentorship and skill-focused coaching methods. Aline Coronado brings a passion for cultivating excellence and resilience in youth athletes to LIV Volleyball Club. A seasoned veteran with over two decades of coaching experience, Aline is dedicated to making a lasting impact on players’ development both on and off the court. Her leadership journey began in 1997, coaching 12U Boys in Tijuana, Mexico, where her team rose to the national level, ranking 7th in their first year and 4th in their second. Since then, Aline has led multiple youth teams to top national placements, including 2nd place with a 13U team in 2008 and 2nd in Division 1 in 2011. Aline’s deep expertise is built on an impressive career across various industries and a strong foundation in sports education, holding certifications in Volleyball and Triathlon Coaching as well as a diploma in Sports Psychology. With a degree in International Business from the University of Baja California, her multifaceted experience spans management roles in transportation, waterworks, silkscreen, fashion, and medical fields, adding a unique strategic edge to her leadership at LIV. Guided by a commitment to positive impact, Aline empowers each athlete to reach their highest potential, fostering skills, confidence, and values that last a lifetime. Experience: Over 20 years of experience coaching youth athletes, with multiple teams earning top national placements, including 2nd place finishes in 2008, 2010, and Division 1 in 2011. Holds certifications in Volleyball Coaching, Triathlon Training, and Sports Psychology, bringing a well-rounded approach to athlete development. Extensive background in international business and management across diverse industries, strengthening LIV Volleyball Club with strategic and organizational expertise.

Born and raised in Orange County, Amber Martin’s athletic journey has always been driven by passion and a love for the game. While she excelled in every sport she tried, it was softball that sparked her early athletic ambitions, ultimately leading her to pursue dance in college. With over 20 years of experience spanning fitness, education, and business, Amber brings a unique blend of skills to her role as Operations Manager at LIV. ​ Amber’s approach to volleyball goes far beyond organizing logistics; she is committed to fostering a positive and supportive environment where athletes can grow not just in skill, but also in character. For Amber, volleyball is more than a sport—it’s a way to create lifelong connections, build confidence, and form core memories. Her focus is on developing athleticism, sportsmanship, and a healthy mindset, helping athletes thrive both on and off the court. Volleyball has become a unifying force for her family, giving her the insight and passion to guide others in experiencing the joy and growth that come with the game. ​ Amber is dedicated to ensuring every player and family feels part of a supportive community, where they can grow both individually and as a team. ​

Corey is the head coach and founder of Dark Knight Sports Training. He is proud to have the opportunity to share his knowledge in Olympic power lifting, plyometrics, and speed training with athletes and individuals. He has a background in kinesiology and completed and received his certification as a level one Olympic weightlifting coach, and level one amateur sprint coach.

Fernando Sablas a veteran volleyball athlete and coach, is Director of MBsand South Beach Volleyball Club and former head coach for the Westcliff University women's beach volleyball team, which was crowned the 2023 Cal Pac champs and took third place at the NAIA Women's Beach National Looking for beach privates, small or large group sessions, Fernando has it covered. Conveniently located in 2 locations, Huntington Beach and Long Beach.
